This month has been a rollercoaster. I wouldn't say an emotional one though. Just a roller coaster. Some good things have happened and some bad things are happening too. I think I put in my last post that I am leaning on God to get me/us through the bad things.
I'm going start with the good things and there is a big long list!! I am working! In the same week I was OFFERED two jobs. Offered. With so many people out there unemployed and searching for work, I am offered 2 jobs. I know I repeated myself but I am simply amazed! The most wonderful thing is one of them I can work from home and it is the easiest work ever! I am helping Price Law Firm convert their office to electronic. That is a fancy way of saying that I am scanning documents. All I do is go into the office and get a bunch of files, bring them home and scan them to a flash drive and then take them to the office and upload them to their network. I set up my office to be where the kids are so I can still take care of them and keep an eye on them. Can't complain about that.
The other job is working at a wine store called WineStyles. It is only 2-3 shifts a week and in the evening time. So the kids are in bed. It is a great way for me to get out of the house and socialize. So far everyone is wonderful and it has been fun. Oh and the extra cash is nice too! Lol!
Another exciting this that is happening is my photography business is getting more exposure. I am actually getting paid for my work. It makes me so happy to hear people comment on photos that I have taken. I also joined a mom's playgroup and they asked me to be their resident photographer.
That is 3 part time sources of income. Which leads me to the next thing.........
We had court this month for the condo. The homeowner's association is trying to foreclose on us because we are behind on our dues. The judge told us to get with the attorney to come up with a payment plan to get caught back up. We sent a proposed payment plan to the attorney and are waiting to hear if the association will accept. If I wasn't working we wouldn't be able to try and get caught back up. It would be really nice to be able to keep that place for a little while longer. So we shall see.

I really wanted......
To keep this blog updated on a daily basis. I had often thought about writing a blog, but didn't really feel like I had a whole lot to write about. But everyday things happen and I think "Oh! I can blog about this!" The problem is getting the time to sit down and write about the......"Oh! I can blog about this!" thing. When I do sit down to "blog", I have so much to "blog" about, I feel like one post could ramble on and on. I would like to start at the beginning, but, where is that?!?! Some things have happened this month and are about to happen. Stay tuned for these events! Some are exciting and some are quite scary, but ONE thing is for sure......GOD IS IN CONTROL. I live by faith and lean on the promise that GOD is in control like you would not believe!!

Kite Surfing
Wow! It has been a busy week! Today is Tuesday and I am feeling quite tired. I need to recover. But as I'm writing this, I am looking around my house and seeing all the work that needs to be done. I despise housework. In my opinion there are lots of better things to be doing. Which is why I suppose I am so far behind on housework. Go, go, go is what I like to do.
I had to show the condo on Thurday so my girl, Kristy, and I loaded up the kiddos and went to the beach. We got a room at the Radisson and was able to enjoy the pool. Friday I had a few things to do to, straighten up the condo, including fixing a screen! Woohoo! Did it all by myself. Lol!
Then it was down to the beach for awhile. Eli saw a kite down the beach and was begging me to go see it. So we walked down and met a couple of nice men here from Texas. They were engineers dredging out the canal for the ships. While they were here they decided to learn how to kite surf. (How neat is that!) The kite they had was a training kite. Eli really wanted to try it and one of the guys was so sweet he let Eli hold onto it and fly it. Of course he held on too. Maybe it's the start of something for Eli. He could teach me someday too!

E-Session
Yesterday I did my first E-Session (engagement photos). It was so much fun! The couple had to go to the courthouse in Sanford to get their marriage license. I originally wanted to do their photos in the Historic District, so I offered to meet them there. The sun wasn't on our side, as it was high. But we made the most of it and had a good time. I always leave a session feeling high. That must mean I really enjoy it!
Posing is not my strongest point. I mostly like to capture people being themselves, you know, people just doing what they do. So what I have been doing is carrying around a note card and writing down the ideas for the shots I wanted to set up. I referred to it often. Lol! I was even able to come up with impromptu things that turned out quite nice.
Needless to say I have tons of photos to go through and edit. Hours of editing I'm sure. I must be disciplined though and not neglect my other responsibilities or stay up too late! Hehe!
Well here is a sneak peak! Enjoy!

Bubbles
I thought it would be really neat to get some photographs with bubbles. In my head I was thinking lots of bubbles. I looked on Amazon for a bubble machine and found some for around $50.00. Not really what I am willing to spend.
So today Eli said "Momma, I want to go bye-bye and buy ONE car." He is so cute! So I decided to load the boys up and go to Target to pick up a few things including a new HotWheels for each of the boys. While I was there I wandered over to the section that had the bubbles to check it out. I found an Amazing Bubbles Turbo Wand promising to blow 1000's of bubbles in 60 seconds for only $8.99. Woohoo! Far less expensive than the bubble machine. I decided to buy one and get a big bottle of Miracle Bubbles too.
When we got home I found a small bottle of Miracle Bubbles to use up and I dumped it into the tray, dipped to wand in and pushed the button..............there they were, a whole 10 bubbles. How WEAK! I was quite disappointed. I got the package and read it and it said after about 8 dips you should get the desired results. 8 dips came and went and still only 10 bubbles. Seriously.
So we put it away, came inside and went about our day. After dinner Eli wanted to blow bubbles again. This time I used the bubbles that came with the wand. To my delight there were thousands of bubbles! I am so excited! (Doesn't take much obviously) Tomorrow we will be loading up and going back to Target to return the big bottle of Miracle Bubbles and exchange it for a big bottle of AMAZING BUBBLES!
The moral of the story........buy Amazing Bubbles!
My First Post
I've thought about doing a blog in the past and now have decided to just do it. It will be a place for me to rant and rave. To piss and moan. To share and rejoice. And whatever else I feel like.
Today I have a seriously fussy baby and a grumpy toddler. I have a headache myself. Probably because I skipped my cup of coffee this morning. Blah. Or maybe it's because I was a mad woman yesterday and went to town on my front yard. Pulling weeds, trimming bushes and trees, mowing, raking, bagging. Today I'm beat. So I just want to sit and figure out this blog thing.
So here's to it!!
